Almost half of the 500 most popular sunscreen products may increase the speed at which malignant cells develop and spread skin cancer.

The reason for this is because they contain vitamin A or its derivatives. Experts say that sunscreen, creams and other ointments might prevent sunburn, but they don’t keep the ultraviolet light from destroying the skin cells and causing tumors and lesions. Studies show that only 39% of the 500 products that were examined were safe and effective to use.
