Do you remember Scratch ‘n Sniff Stickers? I used to get them from teachers in grammar school when I behaved in class. I would collect them and put them on my nails to show them off since they were cute and smelled nice. Now, Revlon has launched Fruitful Temptations ($5), eight limited edition shades of polish that smell fruity when dry. It’s like wearing those stickers on my nails again, sans the cartoons.

I tried Passionate Fruit, a purple hue, on my fingernails and Pretty in Papaya, an orangey red color, on my toenails. The names are based on the color of their respective fruit. At first, it smelled like regular stinky polish when applied.
The formula went on smoothly and the brush is long, so it reached my entire nail bed easily. The polish is very shiny too; I didn’t even need a topcoat. Once it dried, the fruity scents began to emerge. The smell is stronger at first and then becomes more faint. Although, every once in a while when I pass my hands near my face I still smell the sweetness. It’s a cool idea. I guess I was on to something as a kid!.
