Britney Spears’ mother and former manager Lynne Spears has found a new career—selling skin cream door-to door. Lynne Spears—who has been estranged from her famous daughter for several years—is now an “independent consultant” for Rodan + Fields Dermatologists, a skincare line whose mission is described as “bring(ing) innovations in anti-aging skincare to everyone."TMZ.com reports that Spears joined the company because one of her best friends, also a Rodan + Fields sales rep, brought her on board.
“I love the team I am working with and am excited about building my new business,” Spears told company executives. Spears will be hawking a variety of products, including anti-aging eye cloths, vitamin D supplements, sunscreen and skincare kits.
Rodan + Fields Dermatologists offers compensation based on a formula of commissions and bonuses, and the company’s web site “Income Illustrator” predicts revenue potential as high as $27,219 a month. Not as much as money as being Britney Spears’ manager, but hey—it’s a start!
